From San Fran to NYC, Jenna Jordan found success on social media sharing her picks for affordable fashion, travel adventures, and lifestyle advice!
She took time out her busy schedule to answer some of our questions about her life as an influencer, and what her followers may not know about her.
I realized my influence when people would thank me for promoting affordable clothing. A lot of influencers showcase the finer things in life, and sometimes people want to see items things they can obtain. I realized that finding the latest trends without breaking the bank, is my influence.
I wouldn’t say I decided to make the jump, I think life gave me a friendly push in the right direction. I was working for a big corporate company, and I loved it. However, my current job in NYC got moved back to San Francisco, where I’m originally from. I wasn’t done with New York just yet, and I took it as a blessing in disguise. I then left the company, and I was given the opportunity to turn my passion into a career.
I can never learn the words to any song. No matter how many times I hear them, it will never register. I’ll sing in the shower and car all day long and never get the song right.
In the summertime, I won’t leave the house without deodorant. I hate sweating, and I always want to be fresh. In winter, I can’t leave without something to cover my ears like earmuffs or a beanie. When my ears get cold it gives me headaches.
I’ve made all my connections by simply introducing myself. I have no problem sliding into someone’s DMs to ask them to grab drinks or scheduling a coffee date. In this crazy world of social media, you’re just another person, and another Instagram page. Get personal, introduce yourself, and have no shame. That’s how you build relationships.
Forever 21. In high school, my grandma would take me school clothes shopping, and we’d always go to Forever 21. She’d help me pick out clothes and then stand outside the waiting room, and hang up my clothes that I didn’t want. Forever 21 has been my favorite store for almost 20 years, and it would be an honor to work with them.
