Can it get any sweeter than Facebook showing support during the month of Pride? The social media network sent love to the LGBTQ community by rolling out a Rainbow flag emoji earlier this month.
What did Facebook have to say about this new feature? “We believe in building a platform that supports all communities,” they commented in a post published last weekend. “We’re celebrating love and diversity this Pride by giving you a special reaction.”
The social media platform also encouraged community members to use Messenger and Facebook Camera’s Pride filters – which include different masks and effects for the occasion. You can even change your profile picture to a beautiful rainbow flag ribbon frame, seen HERE.
The Facebook community responded mostly positive to the addition of social media content, with many taking to Facebook and Twitter to discuss their newfound Pride-moji and more.
