Accidentally pressed Enter before finishing that email? Or realize you made a fatal grammar error in that client email after you sent it? Did you ever just wish there was a magical UNSEND button to calm all of your worries? Google has finally acknowledged your struggle and made that magical button available to all Gmail users.

Follow these 2 quick steps to enable the new feature on your account:

  1. First, you must locate the cog icon in the top right hand corner of your Gmail account and click on Settings.
  1. Within the Settings page, find the ‘Undo Send’ section. In this section, you will be asked to ‘Enable Undo Send’ and will be given the time windows of 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds to choose from. This is basically the amount of time you will be giving yourself to successfully unsend an email.

Though this feature won’t be able to help you after 30 seconds, it is a huge sigh of relief for those quick to catch onto their errors only after they have sent an email. How excited are you about this new unsend feature?
